This coming November 5, 2010 marks another entrance of Will Ferrell on the screens once more in the release of Megamind movie. This is his comeback movie after bearing the voice of the main protagonist in the movie named as Megamind in which the title was taken. It seems that Ferrell hit two big movies this year. As you may recall, it was last October 13 of this year when the movie The Other Guys was released together with some of the big names in the entertainment industry, Dwayne Johnson, Eva Longoria, and Mark Wahlberg are just a few to mention.

In his upcoming movie, Will Ferrell will be working with one of the Hollywood’s most sought after hunk also. We are referring to the sexy lad and Angie’s man, Brad Pitt. Ferrell and Brad will be voicing the two of the main important characters in the animated movie entitled Megamind.

To give a short bite of the movie, Ferrell, at the beginning of the film is the antagonist or shall we say, a villain in the movie. His role as Megamind was described as ugly alien. This is in contrast to Metro Man, his arch nemesis who was defined closely related to Superman; flies like a speeding bullet, vulnerable and good looking. It was Brad Pitt who bears the voice of Metro Man in the movie.

The story, as what being mentioned is somewhat like the plot of the story of Superman. When the two were being sent away from their planet after the crisis, they both find home in Earth. Megamind being ugly and known for his dangerous brain ability, he was not really accepted in the world of human. Metro Man, being the epitome of what is hero-like was unconditionally loved and therefore treated well. This makes Megamind bitter and he resorts to disastrous ways of revenge, destroying the whole Metro City. Metro Man’s part is a hero but when Megamind had suppressed his power, it was his time to rule the city. On the contrary, Megamind finds it boring without someone to beat and without a competitor. It is quite humorous that with his super intelligent mind, he invented someone as villain, who turns out to be disastrous and uncontrollable. Metro Man who is still alive never wanted to participate in the war once again and turns to be silent and passive. When the expected hero hasn’t come to save the world, ironically, it was the Megamind who helped in recovering the whole humanity.

Awhile back, we may have told you about how Paramount was staging a straight-to-video sequel to 'Mean Girls' without Tina Fey's involvement (she wrote the script for the first one and starred), and without any of the original mean girls. Well, the trailer has just arrived, making sure to sandwich a bunch of scenes from the first 'Mean Girls' into the beginning in order to help you remember the film this sequel is trying so hard to imitate (except it's failing miserably).

Yup, all the direct-to-video sequel ingredients are there. Casting a bunch of unknowns who kinda, sorta look like the original cast? Check. Bringing back the one "name" from the first film who actually needed the easy paycheck? Check. (Oh, it's Tim Meadows.) Creating a storyline that's almost an exact replica of the original film, but with a few extra sight gags and vomit jokes because this script is in no way as smart and original as Tina Fey's? Check.
